Community Engagement and continuous Education Center is committed to establish avenues in building meaningful relation with the community in order to contribute to the social and economic development of Bahrain. The center is keen to engage effectively with industry and community through providing training programs, social engagement, volunteering services and activities, join research towards finding solutions for the industry needs and challenges, offering university facilities and infrastructure for use. The center undertakes collaborative initiatives to support creative pursuits and raise the awareness of the community to become responsible citizen who can compete in evolving socio-economic challenges.

The Community Engagement and Continuing Learning Center seeks to foster effective community engagement through establishing partnership with industry and community and continuous training in all disciplines for outreach and social impact driven by the needs of the community.
Mission
The Community Engagement and Continuing Learning Centre vows to cultivate a culture of community engagement through constructive community partnership. The center promotes knowledge and experience sharing for continuous learning of our students, graduates and larger community and impactful services for the community based on the identified needs. The center supports meaningful collaboration with industry and academia underpinned by the principle of social responsibility and sustainable development.
Goals
- Support research that focuses on growth of academic and socio-economic prosperity within the Kingdom of Bahrain.
- Develop effective partnership with local industry and labor market to conduct joint research.
- Promote and support research activities among GU staff.
- Provide opportunities to researchers to publish and share their research findings.
- Commit to develop cooperation within community that includes both government and private sectors through partnership agreements.
- Develop cooperation with community sectors through partnership agreements.
- Offer various workshops and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills of community members.
