Gulf University has officially began preparations for its 21st graduation ceremony, set to take place on June 4, 2025, at the Gulf Hotel’s Conference Hall. The prestigious event will be held in the presence of H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Higher Education Council.
Gulf University President, Prof. Mohanad Al-Firas, reaffirmed the institution’s dedication to advancing academic programs that align with global trends, ensuring graduates are equipped with the essential skills for the modern job market. He emphasized the university’s commitment to adopting a dynamic learning environment through cutting-edge technology and strategic partnerships with both public and private sector institutions. Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Hisham Al-Marsafawi, , highlighted the university’s efforts to integrate critical thinking, innovation, and entrepreneurship into its curriculum. This holistic approach ensures graduates remain competitive and adaptable in an evolving workforce.
Meanwhile, Head of the Admissions and Registration Unit, Baraa Al-Samarrai, , urged graduating students to complete their registration requirements for the ceremony. A dedicated team has been assigned to streamline the process, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for students and their families.
Gulf University continues to offer a well-rounded academic experience through its diverse colleges. The College of Law provides a comprehensive curriculum covering both local and international legal systems, with a strong emphasis on practical applications and legal consulting. The College of Engineering offers specialized programs in Interior Design Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, the latter in collaboration with the University of Northampton (UK), exposing students to state-of-the-art technology and innovation. The College of Communication & Media Technologies features degree programs in Media, Advertising & Digital Marketing (delivered in partnership with the University of Northampton), as well as a master’s in media, allowing students to gain practical experience through industry collaborations and real-world training. Meanwhile, the College of Administrative & Financial Sciences offers programs in Human Resource Management, Accounting, and Finance, along with an Arabic-language MBA and a Master’s in HR Management in partnership with the University of Northampton, equipping graduates for leadership roles.
