Gulf University and Ram Medical Center signed a Memorandum of Understanding reflecting the university’s dedication to community service and advancing sustainable development. President of Gulf University, Professor Mohanad AlFiras, emphasized that this collaboration marks a significant milestone in the university’s ongoing efforts to promote health awareness and foster scientific research, ultimately benefiting the Bahraini community. 

Director of Ram Medical Center, Dr. Mohammed Al-Omari, highlighted the importance of the MoU, which aims to enhance health awareness in the community by launching innovative educational programs, organizing joint events, and conducting workshops focused on promoting healthier lifestyles and educating the public. He further noted that the MoU represents a valuable opportunity to support community initiatives that foster awareness. Additionally, it reflects Ram Medical Center’s commitment to improving public health through meaningful collaboration with higher education institutions. 

Professor AlFiras stated: “At Gulf University, we recognize the importance of strategic partnerships with esteemed institutions like Ram Medical Center to create a positive and sustainable impact on the community. This MoU not only advances health awareness, but also emphasizes the university’s role as a hub of knowledge and its dedication to contributing to sustainable development, in alignment with Bahrain Vision 2030.” 

This collaboration is in line with the objectives of Bahrain Vision 2030, which focuses on building a knowledge-based society by strengthening cooperation across various sectors to achieve comprehensive development that addresses both current needs and future aspirations.
