Community Partners

Gulf University encourages a responsible community and industry engagement which demonstrates active participation, sound impact, responsiveness to needs identified by community, building better community understanding and appreciation, and training and development. The spectrum of community engagement activities are providing training and continuous education, community services, social engagement, industry network, sharing resources and facilities, and donations of equipment. Within this context, the university has entered into partnership agreement with local community organizations.

Shura Council

Partnership agreement with Shura Council to provide opportunities for internship, participate in events, forum, symposium, conference, and collaborate on joint research. The university also offers Shura council representatives a free access to the university library and facilities.

Ministry of Interior (Kingdom of Bahrain)

GU engages in initiatives on security awareness, training, and community service. Educational collaborations also provide students with real-world experience.

Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture

Aligning higher education with national sustainability goals, Gulf University and the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture have entered into a strategic community partnership to drive urban sustainability and green initiatives across the Kingdom of Bahrain. The collaboration focuses on joint community outreach campaigns, sustainable landscaping projects, and specialized knowledge-exchange programs tailored for both university students and ministry personnel. By integrating academic innovation with public sector urban planning expertise, this joint initiative addresses environmental challenges and elevates public awareness.

General Authority of Sports

Collaboration with the General Authority of Sports to promote sport culture amongst the youth. The partnership aims to support the members to pursue academics by providing scholarship. The university thus facilitates student athletes to undertake both academic and sport pursuits.

Bahrain Institute for Political Development

Partnership agreement with Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD) which explores opportunities to offer training courses, and workshops in politics and governance. This collaboration also targets to enhance reach for community engagement and invites speakers to give seminar and presentation on democratic values for the larger community.

National Institute for Human Rights

Partnership with the Institute advances education and awareness in human rights. It encourages research and student involvement in national initiatives.

Ibn Al-Nafees Hospital

Bridging healthcare delivery and academic excellence, a new strategic community partnership between Gulf University and Ibn Al-Nafees Hospital aims to elevate public health literacy in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The collaboration creates dynamic opportunities for joint health awareness campaigns as well as specialized training programs tailored for both university students and hospital staff. By combining academic resources with leading clinical expertise, both institutions are working together to address real-world healthcare challenges, advance social responsibility, and deliver lasting, sustainable benefits to the local community.

Nasser Vocational Training Centre

Collaboration between Gulf University and Nasser Vocational Training Centre provides opportunity to participate and use facilities in Nasser Artificial Intelligence R & D Centre in research, innovation and projects by staff and students.

Hope

Memorandum of understanding with Hope Ventures to promote entrepreneurship among students and staff, conduct interactive workshop and informative sessions to engage students in entrepreneurial knowledge building. Hope is committed to engage students and staff through surveys, interviews, and focus group while generating insights into the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Bahraini Russian Friendship Society

Strategic collaboration with the Bahraini Russian Friendship Society to promote Russian and Arabic language learning and support cultural exchange between Bahrain and Russia. This partnership focuses on organizing joint activities, events, and initiatives that celebrate and deepen mutual cultural understanding.

RAM Medical Clinics
