Hands On, Switched On: Gulf University and iWorld Equip Students with MacBook Skills for Smarter Learning

As part of its continuing commitment to an advanced learning environment that supports students throughout their studies, the Information Technology Department at Gulf University, in collaboration with iWorld, organised a specialised technical workshop for students. The workshop introduced participants to MacBook devices, covering the essentials of their use and highlighting key tools and features that simplify academic tasks and enrich the digital learning experience.

Students engaged enthusiastically throughout the session and praised the practical knowledge and technical skills they gained to support their academic achievement. The workshop concluded with the distribution of souvenir gifts to participants, adding to the lively and positive atmosphere.

Mr. Ali Mansoor, Head of the Information Technology Department, stated that the workshop reflects the University’s commitment to keeping pace with the latest educational technologies and equipping students with modern digital tools for their academic and professional paths. He described the collaboration with iWorld as an important step towards integrating advanced technology into the learning environment, and commended the students for their active participation and eagerness to apply what they learned.

Mr. Abdullah Emad, Head of the Student Services Department, noted that the University places great importance on hands-on activities and applied workshops that enrich campus life and meet students’ learning needs beyond the classroom. He affirmed that the Student Services Department will continue to support initiatives that develop students’ skills and provide an environment that inspires creativity and excellence throughout their university journey.
