
Gulf University, through the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, successfully hosted the 2nd International HR Day 2026 under the theme “HR-Driven Innovation for Sustainable Organizational Success.” The event brought together HR leaders, industry experts, government representatives, academics, and students to celebrate the vital role of human resources in shaping the future of work.
The event featured keynote presentations by distinguished speakers from Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who shared insights on innovation, artificial intelligence, workforce transformation, and organizational excellence. Participants also engaged in a panel discussion exploring sustainable HR practices and strategies for building resilient organizations.
A central element of the event was the recognition ceremony honoring outstanding HR professionals and strategic partners for their contributions to workforce development and organizational success.
Students benefited from a live interview simulation workshop led by HR professionals from leading organizations, providing valuable practical experience, professional feedback, and networking opportunities with potential employers. The event also included employer booths, CV collection activities, and direct engagement with industry representatives.
Through initiatives such as International HR Day, Gulf University continues to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry while preparing graduates with the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required for success in today’s dynamic workplace.
