Pushing the boundaries of digital innovation, Gulf University’s Community Engagement and Continuing Education Center (CECEC) recently hosted an advanced woDemonstrating its commitment to sustainability and smart infrastructure, Gulf University’s Community Engagement and Continuing Education Center (CECEC) recently conducted an advanced workshop titled “Integrating Artificial Intelligence in Waste Management and Enhancing Recycled Material Use in Construction and Infrastructure Projects” for Ministry of Works employees. The session was expertly led by environmental technology specialist Mohammed Allaymoun.
This forward-looking program equipped participants with practical knowledge and tools to:
- Apply AI for efficient waste sorting and recycling analysis
- Innovate with recycled materials in construction and roadwork
- Improve resource efficiency and project sustainability
- Implement eco-friendly strategies within infrastructure development
By exploring real-world applications of AI and sustainable practices, the workshop positioned Ministry staff to lead eco-conscious initiatives in public works.
