The Gulf University participated in the Gulf Higher Education Exhibition “GHEDEX 2024” for the second consecutive year, which kicked off at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre under the patronage of the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma. This annual event serves as an ideal platform for universities and colleges to showcase their educational programs and engage with students and parents.
Professor Mahand Al-Mashadani, the President of the university, stated that the Gulf University is committed to continuing to provide and expand educational opportunities for students in line with high-quality standards, believing in the significant role of education in building strong communities. He emphasized that participation in the GHEDEX Bahrain exhibition is an important opportunity for direct communication with potential students and providing them with necessary support in their academic and professional journey, describing the second edition of the exhibition as a significant event for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He added, “This step comes within the framework of the Kingdom’s interest, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and Prime Minister, in the importance of advancing the education sector at all levels, especially higher education, considering it as a fundamental pillar for development efforts in various fields.”
He noted that the Gulf University offers a variety of distinguished educational programs in various disciplines, providing exciting opportunities for students to succeed in their academic and professional paths, affirming its support and dedication to developing human capital and enhancing higher education.
On his part, Dr. Hisham Al-Marsafawi, the Vice President for Academic Affairs of the university, stated that the Gulf University is committed to developing its students and preserving their academic paths by providing various courses and opening avenues of cooperation with foreign universities such as the University of Northampton.
