Assistant Professor in Business Analytics

Introduction:

The College of Administrative and Financial Sciences aims to prepare graduates with advanced analytical and data-driven decision-making skills essential for the modern business environment. The College invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Business Analytics to begin in September 2026. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical expertise with effective teaching and applied research.

1. Expected Qualifications:

• A Ph.D. degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, or a related field from an internationally accredited university, preferably AACSB-accredited.
• Professional certifications in analytics, data science, or business intelligence are desirable.

2. Expected Experience:

• A minimum of three years of teaching experience in Business Analytics or related fields.
• Demonstrated research capability with publications or strong potential in analytics-related journals.
• Experience in using analytical tools and platforms (e.g., Power BI, Python, R, SQL, SPSS).
• Experience in curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
• Relevant industry experience in data analytics or business intelligence.

3. Required Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate data insights into managerial decisions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Active research engagement in analytics and data-driven management.
• Ability to teach in Arabic and English.

4. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Teaching and learning: Deliver Business Analytics courses across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Academic service: Participate in accreditation, curriculum, and quality committees.
• Research engagement: Conduct and publish research in business analytics and related domains.
• Community engagement: Support data-driven initiatives benefiting industry and society.
