in a moment that embodied institutional teamwork and a unified spirit, Prof. Mona bint Rashid Al-Zayani, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Gulf University, received Prof. Muhannad Al-Faras in her office on campus, where he presented her with the 2025 eGovernment Excellence Award that the university won during a ceremony attended by His Excellency Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communications Technology.
In her remarks on this occasion, Prof. Al-Zayani expressed her deep appreciation for this achievement, saying:
“I am pleased to receive this award, which represents the outcome of the collective efforts of all our teams at the university. I extend my sincere gratitude to all university members, both academic and administrative, for their dedication and creativity. We promise continued support to advance our development initiatives, strengthen our ability to excel, and maintain our presence on leading platforms of recognition and distinction in various fields.”
She added that this achievement reflects Gulf University’s strong commitment to developing its digital ecosystem and providing advanced electronic educational services that meet student expectations and align with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s vision for digital transformation.
