The Mechanical and electrical & electronic departments organized a field trip to Al-Moayed electrical and instrumentation systems company. The site visit was supervised by Dr Walid EL-FEZZANI Head of the Electrical and Electronics department, Dr Oula Fatla-Head of Mechanical department and Dr. Osama Al-Rawi the Dean of the College of Engineering with a group of students from the Mechanical and electrical & electronic departments in the frame of viewing Mechanical projects developed by AEIS in the Industrial field. The instructors indicated to the importance of the visit to develop the students’ skills and to show them the different types of machines, their functions, how they work, and their applications in different engineering projects. Finally, the students discussed together with the site supervisor the different types of the real projects and applications of these machines in Bahrain which are designed and implemented by the Fab Lab Bahrain.
