Gulf University Celebrates Saudi Arabia’s 94th National Day with a Memorable Event
In an atmosphere filled with excitement and pride, Gulf University celebrated Saudi Arabia’s 94th National Day at its campus in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The green-themed event saw a remarkable turnout from students, faculty members, and notable figures from both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Professor Muhannad Al-Mashhadani, President of Gulf University, opened the event with a congratulatory message addressed to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. He praised the deep historical relations between the two kingdoms and expressed the university’s pride in celebrating this day, which reflects the spirit of unity and prosperity between the two nations. He wished Saudi Arabia continued progress and prosperity.
In his speech, Mr. Muhannad Al-Ani, Vice Chairman of Gulf University, expressed his joy in the university’s participation in this significant national occasion. He stated, “Today, we are not only celebrating Saudi Arabia’s achievements but also the strong bonds that unite Bahrain and Saudi Arabia across various fields, especially in education. Our Saudi students are an integral part of our academic community, and we are proud of their contributions and achievements.”
To further enhance the celebratory atmosphere, several Gulf University students took part in the event, delivering speeches filled with pride. Student Saja Al-Quraini said, “Today, we feel proud not only as Saudi citizens but as students of Gulf University, which embraces and supports our ambitions.” Fellow student Abdullah Al-Buraik added, “We thank the university for this wonderful celebration, which reflects the mutual love and respect between the two countries.”
The event featured various highlights, including national artistic performances by Saudi students and poetry recitations expressing love for the homeland. The traditional “Saudi Ardah” performance added a special touch to the celebration, with the audience enthusiastically participating.
At the close of the event, Ms. Bara Al-Samarrai, Head of the Admissions and Registration Unit, expressed her happiness with the noticeable increase in the number of Saudi students at the university. She emphasized that Gulf University will always be a second home for them, providing everything they need to succeed.
